Zatrwian is the Polish name of the plant known to the world as Limonium. In the past, the roots of zatwianiu, due to the high content of tannin, were traditionally used in tanning, as well as for the production of black, pink, yellow and green paint used to dye leather or carpets. Today, this plant is very popular in gardening as a wonderful ornament.
